Job summary

KMZD GROUP is seeking a site supervision engineer for electrical/civil substation projects in the Laoag region. The role involves routine monitoring of workmanship, reviewing drawings, coordinating with project teams, and managing approvals and inspections to ensure quality outcomes.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, 2+ years of site experience, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering with relevant field
• More than 2 years of site work experience, substation related
• Solid foundation in electrical/civil engineering principles, design, and construction
• Strong structural inspection skills identifying workmanship issues and safety concerns
• Proficient with industry-standard software for documentation

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction work quality and monitor site processes
• Review design drawings, participate in coordination meetings, manage approvals
• Handle Work Accomplishment Certificate applications and assist payment reviews
• Attend site check surveys and geological investigations
• Prepare monthly reports
• Conduct structural inspections and identify workmanship and safety issues
• Prepare inspection reports and coordinate corrective actions with contractors
• Coordinate electrical/civil projects to ensure timely completion within budget
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the company

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction work quality in accordance with standard workmanship and monitor site processes
• Apply and review professional design drawings, participate in coordination meetings, establish account records, and manage approval progress
• Take charge of Work Accomplishment Certificate applications for collection and assist in reviewing payment files
• Attend site check surveys and geological investigation work
• Prepare monthly reports
• Conduct structural inspections to identify workmanship issues, safety concerns, and non-conformities
• Prepare clear inspection reports and coordinate corrective actions with contractors
• Manage and coordinate electrical/civil engineering projects to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Complete other work tasks assigned by the company

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering
• More than 2 years of experience in site work (Substation related) with comprehensive understanding of construction processes, project management, and site supervision
• Solid foundation in electrical/civil engineering principles, design, and construction
• Strong structural inspection skills with ability to identify workmanship issues and safety concerns
• Proficient in utilizing industry-standard software for documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with good command of English language
• Highly organized, innovative, and reliable
• Willing and able to report to various project sites as needed and demonstrate flexibility in site deployment
• Able to extend working hours when required to support critical construction activities and inspections
• Basic knowledge of Substation and Transmission line projects
