Rocket Ventures in the Philippines is seeking an interior/signage documentation specialist to own the front half of the process for hospitality environments. You will map guest journeys, develop sign schedules, and hand over a complete package to the design team for implementation.
Requirements include an interior design or architectural background, AutoCAD/Revit and Illustrator skills, and strong numbering and revision control.
In this role you'd own the front half of the process, before any sign is designed. You'll work with a growing Australian studio that designs wayfinding and environmental graphics for high-end hospitality: five-star hotels, resorts, branded residences, restaurants and bars, and large mixed-use developments. This involves physical signage in buildings - sign schedules, marked-up floor plans, and documentation. Not app, GIS or kiosk development. No coding.
Strategy: map the journey for a first-time guest, a returning guest, a staff member and a delivery driver, and find every point where someone has to choose a direction
Client sign-off: present the circulation logic and get arrival sequences, back-of-house separation and naming agreed
Documentation: turn the approved strategy into sign type schedules, marked-up sign location plans and message schedules
Handover: give the design team a complete, coordinated package they can work from directly
An interior design background (preferred), or architecture or environmental graphics — licensed IDr or Architect a plus
3+ years producing interior, FF&E, fit-out or signage documentation
Fluency in reading architectural, interior, RCP and MEP drawings
AutoCAD and/or Revit for pulling base plans, plus Illustrator
A real obsession with numbering, quantities and revision control
Clear English, and the ability to start at 7:00 AM PH time (6:00 AM Oct-Apr)
Experience in hospitality, knowledge of BP 344 / RA 9514 / PD 1096 or their international equivalents, or multilingual projects is a bonus
InDesign experience is a bonus; if you're strong everywhere else, we'll train you
