Newport World Resorts in the Philippines is seeking an Environmental Graphics Associate to execute graphic layouts, gather site measurements, and support project tracking for signage, wayfinding, and display systems across the resort. The Environmental Graphics Associate is responsible for executing graphic layouts, site measurements, and project tracking for property signages, wayfinding, promotional displays, and property enhancement set-ups across the integrated resort. Reporting to the Environmental Graphics leadership, the primary objective of this role is to produce accurate design deliverables and gather precise physical space measurements to support the team's production pipeline. The position operates within the limits of established brand guidelines, technical drafting standards, approved materials, and assigned task schedules, requiring technical layout proficiency, strong dimensional accuracy, and operational flexibility.
Draft visual layouts and standard graphic artwork for property signages, wayfinding elements, and decorative panels based on approved team concepts.
Assist in preparing scaled 2D layout plans, board-up graphics, and structural set-up visuals (booths, stage elements, lounges) using existing design templates and brand guidelines.
Convert design files into accurate production-ready artwork and scaled layout sheets with specified dimensions.
Conduct initial site ocular inspections to take exact physical measurements, capture site images, and collect spatial data before design work begins.
Perform routine daily site walks across property areas to monitor the basic physical condition, cleanliness, and alignment of installed signages under the team's scope.
Apply basic technical understanding of floor plans, elevations, and section drawings to ensure graphics fit designated physical locations accurately.
Update and track individual task progress within the team's job order tracking system to support overall Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
Organize design assets, project folders, and archival files to streamline departmental workflow and asset retrieval.
Provide routine administrative and drafting support to senior team members and superiors during peak project periods.
Participate actively in internal team alignment meetings, task handovers, and project briefings.
Report daily project status, dimensional discrepancies found on site, or design issues to superiors for timely resolution.
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth handover of finalized layout files for production or vendor fabrication.
Education: Graduate of Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or an equivalent technical/design field of study.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drafting and layout graphic software, including Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Photoshop.
Practical knowledge of technical plan terminology (floor plans, elevations, section diagrams).
Familiarity with common building, substrate, and construction materials used in basic signages and display structures.
Competencies:
Strong creative capability paired with high attention to dimensional accuracy and detail.
Good verbal and written English communication skills for daily reporting and team coordination.
