Job summary

OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a suitably qualified Specialist - Maintenance Planning (Short-Term) at the Didipio mine.

You will plan and execute short-term maintenance for surface and underground equipment, aiming to minimize downtime and maintain zero-injury operations. Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree, at least 2 years in maintenance planning or engineering in metals/mining, licensure as a Mechanical Engineer, and a valid Professional Driver's License.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance planning or engineering within metals/mining or similar heavy industry.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer or related engineering field.
• Professional Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute short-term maintenance schedules for surface and underground equipment.
• Maintain a zero-injury workplace environment.
• Develop and implement short-term maintenance strategies for all equipment.
• Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of services and align with company values.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize scheduling and execution.
• Monitor backlog and inventory levels for critical spare parts and consumables.
