Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Specialist (Shopify) to manage daily merchandising, product setup and promotions from a remote night-shift role in the Philippines. You’ll ensure accurate catalog management, promotional setup and go-live readiness while coordinating with marketing and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly site merchandising updates in Shopify and tools such as Searchspring and Rebuy.
• Maintain collection sorting, product placement and category organization to ensure a consistent ecommerce experience.
• Support product launches and ensure products are ready for go-live.
• Execute weekly homepage updates, including banners and featured collections.
• Implement campaign launches and ensure alignment across relevant site pages.
• Conduct quality assurance of site updates across desktop and mobile.
• Set up promotions in Shopify, including discounts and promotional codes.
• QA promotional logic and troubleshoot issues to ensure accurate promotion execution.
• Align promotional setup with ecommerce and marketing calendars.
• Support product setup, tagging and merchandising attributes.
• Identify, upload and organize product imagery.
• Ensure product detail pages (PDPs) are accurate, complete and ready for customers.
• Conduct daily site QA to identify potential issues before they impact customers.
• Monitor for broken links, pricing errors, missing content and other site issues.

Your Role

As an Ecommerce Operations Specialist, you will:

• Validate product launches, promotions and site changes before and after release.
• Partner with the development team to coordinate and manage site releases.
• Track and validate development tickets and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.
• Improve communication and coordination between ecommerce and development teams.
• Validate discrepancies across Shopify, reporting tools and marketing data.
• Identify and flag data anomalies and inconsistencies early.
• Work closely with the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Experience to execute weekly ecommerce priorities and maintain site accuracy, optimization and readiness.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce, ecommerce merchandising or digital operations, ideally within an apparel or retail environment.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality ecommerce experiences.
• Highly organized and process-driven, with the ability to manage recurring operational tasks accurately and on time.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with ecommerce, marketing and development teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong quality assurance and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure updates are completed accurately and on schedule.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise/experience

• Experience working with Searchspring, Rebuy or similar ecommerce merchandising and optimization tools.
• Previous experience supporting apparel, fashion, lifestyle or retail ecommerce brands.
• Experience managing Shopify promotions, discounts and promotional codes.
• Experience with product catalog management, product tagging and merchandising attributes.
• Experience coordinating website releases and working with development teams.
• Experience validating ecommerce, reporting and marketing data.
• Familiarity with digital merchandising, homepage management and ecommerce campaign execution.
• Experience working with ecommerce analytics or reporting platforms.
