Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Specialist to manage site merchandising, promotions, and product content in Shopify and related platforms from a night-shift, work-from-home setup. You will ensure PDP accuracy, coordinate with web development, and oversee Amazon listings and logistics.

The role requires 3-5 years in ecommerce operations, hands-on Shopify/Amazon experience, and a sharp QA mindset.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with Shopify and Amazon seller/vendor platforms
• Strong ability to set up and QA promotional discounts, banners, launches, and PDPs
• Highly detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset and ownership in fast-paced environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute site merchandising updates, product placement, and category organization in Shopify using Searchspring and Rebuy
• Manage homepage content, promo setups, discount logic, and brand assets across desktop and mobile
• Maintain product catalog completeness, PDP accuracy, imagery uploads, and go-live readiness
• Perform site QA to identify broken links, pricing errors, and data discrepancies between Shopify and reporting tools
• Collaborate with web development to track release tickets and manage Amazon vendor listings, PDP updates, and logistics oversight

Your Role

As an Ecommerce Operations Specialist, you will:

• Execute site merchandising updates, product placement, and category organization in Shopify using tools like Searchspring and Rebuy.
• Manage homepage content, promotional campaign setups, discount logic, and brand asset updates across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Maintain product catalog completeness, PDP accuracy, imagery uploads, and product launch go-live readiness.
• Perform continuous site QA to identify broken links, pricing errors, and data discrepancies between Shopify and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with web development teams to track release tickets and manage Amazon vendor listings, PDP updates, and logistics oversight.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3-5 years of professional experience in ecommerce operations, site merchandising, and digital store management (ideally with apparel brands).
• Hands-on proficiency with Shopify and Amazon seller/vendor management platforms.
• Strong background setting up and QAing promotional discounts, site banners, product launches, and PDP content.
• Exceptional attention to detail, highly process-driven mindset, and ability to troubleshoot site defects quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense of ownership in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience using ecommerce search and merchandising tools such as Searchspring, Rebuy, or similar Shopify apps.
• Familiarity with developer release tracking, ticketing systems, and collaborating with web developers.
• Experience auditing product catalog data discrepancies across Shopify, marketing channels, and analytics platforms.
• Background managing Amazon brand store assets, A+ content, and logistics workflows.
• Strong QA mindset across mobile and desktop responsive views.
