Job summary

SPX PHILIPPINES INC. seeks an experienced warehouse shift supervisor to monitor performance in the Sorting Center, manage on-time rate and backlogs, and optimize layouts and processes.

You will ensure smooth inbound to outbound operations, align SOPs with other shifts, meet metrics, coach staff, and share detailed performance reports with deadlines. Proficiency in Google Sheets and Slides is required; 3+ years in warehouse supervision is expected, automation experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in the same industry.
• Experience with warehouse automation is a plus.
• Fluency in Google Sheets and Slides is required.
• Strong performance management, communication, and time management.
• Ability to provide direct feedback and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Control performance of operation in the assigned shift in Sorting Center via layouts and processes.
• Ensure smooth inbound to outbound operations and alignment of SOPs across shifts.
• Ensure metrics are met and develop strategies for improvement.
• Provide team encouragement and coach/team leadership.
• Generate and share detailed reports on performance, objectives, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with various departments and report issues to management.

Job description

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

• In-charge in control performance of operation in the assigned shift in Sorting Center(s) (i.e: on-time rate, lost rate, backlogs, etc.) via building and optimizing layouts, processes
• In-charge of ensuring that every aspect and detail of the shift runs smoothly and efficiently, from Inbound to Outbound
• Ensures aligned SOPs with other shifts and departments are aligned
• Responsible for making sure that metrics are met
• Develop strategies to achieve goals and provides team encouragement by communicating team goals and identifying areas for improvement
• Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, objectives, and deadlines
• Coordinates with various departments
• Reports any issues that arise during the shift to the management
• Coaching and guiding team members

Requirements:

• Strong performance management, communication and time management skills
• Equivalent experience of a warehouse supervisor from 3 years and above, same industry experience is a plus. Having experience with warehouse automation is a plus.
• Comfortable delivering and receiving frequent direct written and oral feedback
• Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
• Fluency in Google Sheet & Slides are MUST required
• Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, leadership skills
• Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
• Amenable to work in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
