Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a Safety Manager to ensure full compliance with national and local SHEQ regulations across the company, its clients, and vendors. Qualifications

• Registered Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline.
• 6–10 years of relevant environmental, health, and safety compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and quality control systems.
• Professional Certifications are highly desirable: Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Accreditation; DOLE-accredited Safety Practitioner (SO3 or higher)

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for sites.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure SHEQ compliance and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage SHEQ programs to meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Monitor incident trends and develop strategies to improve safety performance.
• Develop and maintain emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Represent the company during audits and regulatory inspections; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
• Oversee internal audits, QMS performance, and liaise with certification bodies.
• Deliver training on QMS, OSH, risk analysis, and industry best practices.
• Establish and monitor SHEQ procedures and safe work instructions.
• Conduct environmental compliance assessments and ensure proper waste management.
• Review and enhance business continuity plans with management.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and international standards.
• Support SHEQ requirements in bids and proposals.
• Assist in corporate sustainability initiatives and community engagement programs.
