Globalport Terminals Inc. is seeking an SHES and Admin Officer to safeguard a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace at the corporate office while delivering Safety, Health, and Environment management and administrative support.
The role covers managing car insurance, office supplies, facility maintenance, and safeguarding records. You will coordinate CSR initiatives across all port locations, monitor CSR programs, report impacts, and ensure proper alignment with the company mission.
The SHES and Admin Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace within the corporate office while providing Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) management and administrative support. The role integrates SHE management and administrative operations, including management of company car insurance, office supplies, facility maintenance, and safekeeping of administrative records.
Additionally, the role serves as a central coordinator for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), overseeing the development, implementation, and reporting of impactful community and environmental programs across all port locations.
Develop, implement, and monitor the corporate and port terminal’s Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and programs aligned with DOLE OSH requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts/conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions in corporate offices.
Organize and lead toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and emergency drills (fire, earthquake, emergency preparedness response etc.).
Develop and organize SHES presentation materials aligned with established requirements, ensuring clear, effective, and standardized content that strengthens alignment between port operations and corporate SHES standards.
Handle company car insurance for executives, including renewals, documentation, and coordination with insurance providers & oversee maintenance, registration, and scheduling of company vehicles assigned to the corporate office.
Ensure proper daily tasks prioritization of the messenger and ensure necessary requirement compliance/renewals & initiate request for preventive maintenance & repairs
Manage office supplies inventory, ensuring timely procurement, distribution, and monitoring of consumption for both head offices.
Coordinate repairs, utilities, and service contracts/ billing for office equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
Monitor implementation of corporate-wide CSR programs, in coordination with the CSR teams of ports, that align with the company’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
Coordinate directly with designated CSR focal persons across all ports to monitor and support the planning, execution, and evaluation of local CSR initiatives.
Assist ports in implementing relevant community development projects, environmental programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Track and consolidate all CSR activities and impact reports submitted by ports; ensure timely submission and accurate documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other related fields.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Occupational Safety and Health, Facilities, or Administrative Operations.
DOLE-accredited Safety Officer certification, preferably BOSH/COSH or equivalent.
Registered Nurse is an advantage.
Other certifications related to environmental management, emergency preparedness, fire safety, or risk management are an advantage.
