Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Australian mortgage broking (direct experience with a major Australian brokerage network is highly regarded).
• Deep end-to-end knowledge of the Australian mortgage life cycle, especially approval-to-settlement workflows and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Australian aggregator systems, lender portals, valuation ordering tools, e-signature software, and standard office productivity tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication with a confident, empathetic telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Own loan files from approval to settlement; ensure pre-settlement requirements are met on time.
• Maintain client communication with milestone updates and schedule expectations; escalate as needed.
• Keep CRM updated with accurate file notes, actions, and next steps; monitor pipeline stages.
• Collaborate with Finance Brokers and Credit Analysts for smooth handovers; provide overflow data-entry support during peak periods.
