Job summary

Mortgage Channel is seeking a dedicated Compliance & Post Settlement Officer for AU Mortgage to join our Philippines-based team. This full-time, work-from-home role focuses on post-settlement processes and regulatory adherence within the Australian mortgage sector.

You will monitor compliance, review documentation, and support audits while collaborating with internal stakeholders to uphold operational integrity and client protections.

Qualifications

• Experience in Australian mortgage compliance and post-settlement operations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and settlement practices in Australia.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance tasks.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with Australian mortgage regulations and internal policies.
• Review and process post-settlement mortgage documentation for accuracy.
• Conduct compliance audits of mortgage files and settlement procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of compliance activities and corrective actions.
• Stay updated on changes to mortgage legislation and industry best practices in Australia.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators as required.
• Support investigation and resolution of compliance breaches or customer complaints.
• Provide training on compliance procedures and post-settlement protocols.
