Job summary

Hire Virtual Team (HVT) Global Solutions seeks an experienced Platform Engineer—ServiceNow to manage, develop, and maintain our enterprise ServiceNow environment. You will focus on administration, configuration, performance, and upgrades across the organization.

You will collaborate with global teams, design scalable solutions, and ensure security, governance, and compliance while contributing to capacity planning and platform enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, systems administration, or related enterprise IT roles.
• Hands-on ServiceNow administration, configuration, and customization.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, IT Operations, and IT Service Delivery modules.
• Understanding of databases, APIs, and system integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.
• Understanding of security practices, including IAM and data protection.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA or CIS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and platform functionalities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Handle platform upgrades, patches, maintenance, and enhancements.
• Monitor platform performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and governance standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure improvements.
