Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and enhance ServiceNow solutions within a complex enterprise environment. You will work across a broad range of capabilities, partnering with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to deliver scalable, secure platform solutions.

You will play a key role in solution design, platform configuration, workflow automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping maximise the value of the ServiceNow investment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, GRC, or IRM modules.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and platform automation capabilities.
• Experience designing and supporting integrations using REST APIs and SOAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, catalog items, business rules, notifications, and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Configure and support GRC/IRM modules and platform governance practices.
• Design and implement automated workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
• Create reusable components and platform standards for consistency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root cause analyses.
• Support testing, deployment, and release activities across environments.
• Document configurations and operational procedures.
• Ensure solutions align with security and enterprise architecture standards.
• Contribute to platform optimization and best practices.
