Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions seeks an experienced ServiceNow Architect to drive CMDB modernization and governance in our enterprise environment. You will design data models, oversee CMDB data quality, and collaborate with product teams on roadmaps for CMDB, Discovery, and ITAM.

Strong focus on platform training and mentoring engineers across multiple experience levels. Candidates should have deep knowledge of CSDM, ITSM, and integrations, plus excellent communication with stakeholders across IT

Qualifications

• Understands ServiceNow, ITSM processes, CSDM model, CMDB
• Flow Designer, Automated Test Framework (ATF), Catalog Development/Deployment End-End
• API testing, deployment, and integration
• Experience coordinating with multiple product teams
• Communication across multiple end users/stakeholders, team player

Responsibilities

• Establishes a forward-looking vision for the product area, ensures quality technical delivery, reduces technical debt and drives modernization.
• Provides technical solutions and guidance on ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database), Discovery, ITAM (IT Asset Management), integrations and CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Continuously identify improvement and innovation opportunities on CMDB architecture, including data models, relationships, and attributes, that is align with industry best practices.
• Develop and design strategy to ensure data integrity and accuracy through data reconciliation, normalization, and data quality improvements.
• Design, define and enforce CMDB governance policies, standards, and procedures for data quality, access control, lifecycle management, and audit compliance.
• Provide architectural inputs on ServiceNow modules like CMDB, ITAM, and Service Mapping.
• Work with product management team in the creation and maintenance of CMDB, Discovery & ITAM roadmap.
• Collaborates with product management and other architects for overall architecture alignment.
• Train and mentor other team members of the ServiceNow Platform with strong focus on the Platform, CMDB, discovery, ITAM and CSDM.
