Gorilla Motors Corporation is seeking an automotive technician with hands-on experience in diagnostics and high-voltage systems to join our service team. You will use scanners to identify malfunctions, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs.
Responsibilities include documenting tests and parts, advising clients, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while test-driving vehicles as needed. A relevant diploma and valid driver's license are required.
Use computerized diagnostic tools and electronic scanners to identify engine, electrical, and mechanical malfunctions
Perform scheduled services such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Fix or replace worn, damaged, or broken parts like brake pads, sensors, and belts
Test drive vehicles or use specialized testing equipment to ensure that repaired systems meet manufacturer specifications
Maintain detailed records of all tests, parts used, and services performed, and explain repair needs to clients or service advisors
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and operational
Diploma Holder or NC Holder, or an equivalent qualification (General Educational Development)
Certification or Associate degree in Automotive Technology or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with dedicated coursework in electric and hybrid vehicle systems
Minimum of 1 year of automotive service experience, including at least 6 months directly servicing high-voltage electric or hybrid drivetrains
Valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record to test-drive customer and fleet vehicles
