Krypton International Resources Sales and Services Inc. is seeking a Service Operations and Controls Manager to oversee the financial, schedule, and documentation control of its service and project portfolio.
You will ensure mobilization readiness, track execution, and close projects with complete records and reconciled costs. You will lead the Project Support Coordinator and the Service Admin & Resource Coordinator, delivering timely visibility on cost, risk, and project status to management.

We are looking for a Service Operations and Controls Manager to oversee the financial, schedule, and documentation control of our service and project portfolio. You will make sure projects are ready before mobilization, tracked through execution, and formally closed with complete records and reconciled costs. You will lead the Project Support Coordinator and the Service Admin & Resource Coordinator, and give management timely visibility on cost, risk, and project status.
Financial Control
Monitor project PO value, budget, committed cost, actual cost, and variances.
Review project profitability and flag significant cost exceptions or margin deterioration.
Make sure project costs and financial requirements are reconciled before formal closure.
Provide management with timely cost and profitability reports and financial exception alerts.
Project Monitoring and Reporting
Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, and customer-required dates.
Identify and elevate critical risks, delays, and exceptions that need management action.
Maintain accurate Service portfolio dashboards and management reports.
Give visibility on at-risk, overdue, and pending-closure projects and critical action items.
Project Operations and Process Control
Oversee project intake and readiness reviews so requirements, owners, timelines, and dependencies are clear before mobilization.
Ensure applicable projects have work plans, schedules, and the required technical and operational inputs.
Monitor milestones, actions, risks, and cross-functional requirements throughout execution.
Ensure formal project closure, including documentation, acceptance, assets and materials, costs, and outstanding actions.
Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement
Lead and develop the Project Support Coordinator and Service Admin & Resource Coordinator, setting clear work standards and accountabilities.
Monitor team compliance with project-control, reporting, and data-management standards.
Analyze recurring delays, cost issues, readiness gaps, and closure problems to find root causes.
Implement approved process and control improvements and apply lessons learned to Service practices.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
At least 6–8 years of experience in project controls, PMO, project administration, project management, operations control, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong understanding of project cost control, budget and variance analysis, project profitability monitoring, schedule and milestone monitoring, and risk and dependency tracking.
Strong analytical skills in project dashboard development, management reporting, and project readiness assessment.
Proficient in ERP/SAP, advanced Excel, and Smartsheet.
High attention to data accuracy, sound judgment in challenging inconsistent information and escalating issues, process discipline, and effective management-level communication.
