The Group Project Finance & Control Manager is a senior finance and control position
responsible for providing independent financial oversight, project performance review, cost
control, profitability analysis, and financial risk management across all operating companies
and projects under the Company.
Work set-up: On-site
Work Schedule: 8-6pm Monday - Friday 8-5pm Saturday
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA is an advantage
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Project Finance, Cost Control, FP&A, Accounting, or Audit
- At least 3–5 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong experience in project-based industries such as construction, engineering, real estate, infrastructure, or manufacturing
- Solid knowledge of project finance, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and Budget vs. Actual analysis
- Experienced in profitability/margin analysis, EAC/ETC, cash flow management, and financial controls
- Knowledgeable in billing validation, subcontractor/supplier billing review, and project cost monitoring
- Familiarity with contracts, billing milestones, change orders, claims, retention, advances, subcontractor agreements, and project commitments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems; Power BI is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify variances, assess financial risks, validate assumptions, and provide actionable recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Senior Management, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Procurement, Operations, and external parties
- Demonstrates high integrity, objectivity, attention to detail, business acumen, accountability, confidentiality, and sound judgment
- Must be capable of independently reviewing and challenging project financial information and providing Management with an objective assessment of costs, revenue, profitability, and financial risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee project financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and profitability across the Group.
- Monitor Budget vs. Actuals, forecasts, project margins, and cash flow to identify financial risks and cost overruns.
- Review and validate project billings, subcontractor/supplier invoices, contracts, and supporting documents.
- Conduct financial and variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve project profitability.
- Develop and maintain financial controls, reporting standards, and governance procedures.
- Provide accurate, timely, and data-driven financial insights and recommendations to Management.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Project Management, Operations, and external stakeholders on project financial matters.
