Job summary

Flexair Philippines Inc. is seeking a Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support, installation, and maintenance of industrial equipment and pneumatic systems. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, prepare reports, and train customers as needed.

You'll travel to customer sites, collaborate with Sales and Applications teams, and ensure equipment operates reliably and meets requirements. A BS in Engineering and field service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in equipment servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, compressors and industrial/electrical equipment.
• Familiar with drawings, wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting and repair of industrial and pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose equipment problems and propose technical solutions.
• Provide technical assistance and customer support.

About the role

The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and servicing of industrial equipment, pneumatic systems, and related products. The position ensures that equipment operates efficiently and meets customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial and pneumatic equipment.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance at customer sites.

• Diagnose equipment problems and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

• Provide technical assistance and support to customers.

• Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.

• Ensure that all service activities are completed properly and within the required schedule.

• Coordinate with the Sales and Application Engineering teams regarding technical concerns and customer requirements.

• Conduct equipment demonstrations and provide basic operational training to customers.

• Monitor equipment performance and recommend necessary repairs or replacement of parts.

• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any related technical course.

• Preferably with experience in equipment servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, compressors, industrial equipment, and mechanical or electrical systems is an advantage.

• Familiarity with technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to travel and conduct field service visits to customer locations.

• With a valid driver's license is an advantage.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
