A Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment or systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain equipment or machinery
- Diagnose technical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance
- Respond to service calls and provide on-site support
- Document service activities, repairs, and parts used
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Communicate with customers to explain issues and solutions
- Coordinate with other departments for parts and technical support
Qualifications
- Vocational or technical course (e.g., electrical, mechanical, automotive, or related field)
- Proven experience as a technician or similar role is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
