We are seeking a highly competent, leadership-driven, and results-oriented Service Center Officer under our Logistics and Equipment Department. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the maintenance, repair, servicing, and inspection of company light vehicles and heavy construction equipment to ensure maximum availability, reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. You will oversee workshop activities, supervise mechanics and technical personnel, coordinate spare parts requirements, and maintain detailed maintenance records.
Plan, organize, and execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) programs for all company light service cars and heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, dump trucks, transit mixers, loaders, batching plant equipment)
Conduct technical troubleshooting, diagnostic checks, and root-cause failure analyses for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to minimize project delays
Supervise, delegate work to, and evaluate the daily performance of shop mechanics, auto-electricians, and repair technicians
Enforce strict workshop safety protocols, standard operating procedures, tool control, and 5S workplace practices
Ensure high equipment availability and operational readiness across all active job sites and projects
Coordinate closely with Project Engineers, Operations, and Logistics to schedule timely equipment dispatch and routine servicing
Estimate repair costs, identify required spare parts, tires, and fluids, and manage inventory levels to ensure seamless repair turnarounds
Perform quality inspections and post-repair test runs before releasing vehicles and heavy equipment back into service
Maintain complete equipment service records, maintenance tracking logs, inspection reports, and job orders
Align shop operations with company ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards and safety policies
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related discipline
Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in fleet management, motor pool supervision, or service center operations
Proven track record in directly leading mechanics and managing heavy construction equipment maintenance
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment mechanics
Experience implementing structured Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and monitoring maintenance metrics
Proficient in MS Excel and Word for maintaining service logs, inventory tracking, and daily/weekly reporting
