About the role
E-Core Validation, Monitoring and Equipment Trading OPC is seeking a Service & Calibration Assistant to join our team and provide technical service and calibration support to customers throughout the Philippines.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Calibration Manager in laboratory, calibration equipment, accessories, and software to ensure services can be provided
- Assist Calibration Manager in implementing service and/or preventive maintenance services to all Ellab end-users which includes check-up, parts replacement, calibration, and cleaning, if necessary
- Assist Calibration Manager in attending calls, monitor, check, and perform troubleshooting/repair of machine on site and be able to recommend to customers necessary actions to solve equipment problems
- Assist Calibration Manager in increasing revenue through sound recommendation for replacement/upgrading of equipment based on current performance and equipment life cycle
- Assist Calibration Manager in implementation and training of new systems when time allows
- Maintain a database of all calibrated Ellab equipment and proactively follow-up on customer's re-calibration, repairs and spare parts prior to due date
- Assist Calibration Manager in proper filing of RMA and monitoring of its status
- Maintain weekly planning schedules and service reports with the Calibration Manager
- Submit a summarized monthly report to the Calibration Manager
- Utilize 60% of time in selling after sales services such as Calibration, repairs and spare parts with existing clients and increase business opportunities by proactively promoting E-core services solutions through lead generation and market feedback
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines
- At least 1–2 years of experience in instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory or industrial equipment. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or academic experience are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and the use of calibration standards and test equipment is an advantage
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is an advantage
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and preparing technical reports
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be willing to work at office located in Sta. Rosa, Laguna
