Job summary

MinebeaMitsumi Philippines is seeking Calibration Technicians to ensure measurement accuracy by calibrating electrical, mechanical and electromechanical instruments. The role includes performing tests, maintaining equipment, and documenting activities for traceability.

Candidates should have Electro-mechanical training, knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, familiarity with quality systems, and proficiency in data handling. On-site work in Cebu with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in electro-mechanical field is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 testing/calibration labs.
• Experience with quality management systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in database and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and tolerance tests on instruments and equipment.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules for measuring devices.
• Evaluate products and accessories against tolerances and specifications.
• Analyze data results and determine countermeasures for measurement errors.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to achieve calibration goals.
• Monitor equipment condition and ensure suitability for calibration use.
• Set up new laboratory and testing equipment as needed.
• Document calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for traceability.

Job Overview

We are looking for Calibration Technicians to ensure accuracy and quality of measurements through calibration of measuring instruments, gauges and testing devices

Job Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and tolerance tests on electrical, mechanical and electromechanical instruments and equipment to ensure accurate results and adherence to established measurement standards
• Establish preventive maintenance schedule and perform proper and timely maintenance of all measuring and testing equipment to ensure all meet the established performance and quality standards
• Perform evaluation and approval of products and accessories that meet tolerances and product specifications
• Analyze and interpret testing data results and provide countermeasures to measurement errors
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs and adjustments needed to accomplish calibration of equipment
• Perform regular monitoring and inspection to ensure that equipment is in suitable condition for calibration and use
• Facilitate set-up new laboratory and testing equipment
• Record all calibration, maintenance and repair activities and data for documentation and traceability

Job Qualifications

• A graduate of 2 or 4 years on Electro-mechanical and Technological course
• Knowledgeable with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 Testing and Calibration Laboratories
• Knowledgeable with the requirements of ISO 9001 and other Quality Management Systems
• Proficiency in a computerized database or document system as well as Microsoft Office Applications
