Responsibilities

• Perform on-site equipment calibration, verification, adjustment and testing.
• Ensure calibration per specifications and ISO 17025/ISO 9001 standards.
• Maintain calibration records and assist in audits and proficiency testing.
• Support development of new calibration scope and monitor KPI attainment.
• Coordinate with supervisors to meet deadlines and provide training support.

Job description

To perform hands-on calibration of equipment on-site with basic repair skills and eventual issuance of Calibration Certificate. You will participate in training programs to improve calibration skills and knowledge, and maintain implementation of laboratory quality systems in compliance with ISO IEC 17025 and ISO 9001.

Key responsibilities

Perform thorough equipment verification, calibration, adjustment and test/repair of equipment as per laboratory calibration procedures

Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated as per specifications and standards

Administer and monitor effectiveness of calibration procedures

Ensure completion of tasks as per assigned deadlines

Maintain and update records of all documentations of the calibration process in compliance with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 requirements

Participate in internal and/or external audits

Participate in Proficiency Testing, Inter-Laboratory and Internal Quality Check programs

Provide support and monitoring of calibration specialists

Assist in the development and extension of new calibration scope

Assist immediate superior to achieve team's KPI

About you

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Engineering or equivalent

Two (2) years relevant experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint for capturing and processing measurement data

Possess own transport with valid driving license

Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)

Knowledge in ISO 17025 standard is an advantage

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Hardworking, meticulous, team player and able to work independently

Good in basic mathematical calculation

Able to perform some overtime when required
