SECOND SKIN INDUSTRIES, INC. seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector for automotive services. You will conduct pre-service, in-process, and post-service inspections, document vehicle condition with photos and reports, and ensure defects are corrected before release.

1. Vehicle Inspection and Quality Control
Conduct pre-service, in-process, and post-service vehicle inspections.
Document vehicle condition through photos, videos, and inspection checklists.
Identify defects in PPF, tinting, ceramic coating, detailing, paint correction, and vinyl wrapping.
Ensure all defects are corrected before vehicle release.
2. Service Process Monitoring
Monitor technicians' compliance with company standards and SOPs.
Verify proper use of tools, materials, equipment, and installation techniques.
Ensure proper vehicle handling, protection, and cleanliness.
Coordinate quality issues and corrective actions with the Operations team.
3. Final Quality Inspection
Inspect completed services against job orders and customer requirements.
Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and free from service-related defects.
Complete final inspection reports and escalate major concerns to management.
4. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain inspection records, photos, defect reports, and rework documentation.
Monitor recurring defects, rework rates, and customer complaints.
Prepare regular quality assurance reports and ensure complete documentation.
5. Corrective Action and Improvement
Identify root causes of defects and recommend preventive measures.
Coordinate corrective actions with technicians and operations personnel.
Recommend improvements to service procedures, quality standards, and technician training.
6. Compliance and Customer Satisfaction
Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and vehicle-handling procedures.
Help minimize rework, material waste, customer complaints, and vehicle damage.
Support the resolution of quality-related customer concerns, particularly involving luxury and premium vehicles.
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in automotive quality assurance, vehicle inspection, or service operations.
Experience in PPF, tinting, detailing, ceramic coating, paint correction, vinyl wrapping, or body and paint is preferred.
Knowledge of automotive defects, workmanship standards, and vehicle inspection procedures.
Experience in quality reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital documentation tools.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to conduct inspections and visit assigned branches as required.
