Job summary

Dayforce is seeking an experienced Senior Workforce Analyst to advance forecasting, capacity planning, and analytics across complex operations. You will lead driver-based forecasts for multi-channel workloads, build Power BI dashboards, and apply AI to improve anomaly detection and scenario analysis.

You will partner with Operations, Finance, and Technology to translate data into actionable workforce recommendations, mentor analysts, and help set forecasting standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in workforce forecasting or analytics in a complex operational environment.
• Driver-based forecasts across multi-channel workloads and consolidating demand/productivity measures.
• Advanced Power BI dashboards, data modelling, and DAX measures.
• Practical AI/automation experience in forecasting workflows.
• Ability to translate data into actionable workforce recommendations for leadership.
• Strong communication to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of workforce forecasting, capacity planning, and analytics across complex workstreams.
• Develop integrated forecasts across voice, chat, cases/tickets, and backlog workloads.
• Translate workload types into a common capacity framework for FTE, capacity, and service outcomes.
• Perform variance, trend, and root-cause analyses to distinguish normal variation.
• Build scenario and sensitivity models to quantify workforce impact.
• Design and enhance Power BI dashboards, data models, DAX measures, KPIs, visualization, and executive reporting.
• Develop automated monitoring to identify meaningful changes in demand, productivity, backlog, SLA, AHT, shrinkage, and forecast performance.
• Apply AI and automation to accelerate forecast analysis, anomaly detection, scenario development, data validation, insight generation, and recurring workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated analysis with governance and operational context.
• Partner with Operations, WFM, Finance, Data & Technology to challenge assumptions and influence capacity decisions.
• Identify opportunities for capacity optimization and cross-skilling across teams.
• Help establish forecasting standards and mentor analysts in forecasting and analytics.
