Job summary

Nagarro is seeking an Associate Staff Engineer for Workday integrations to design, develop, test, and support end-to-end Workday integrations. The role emphasizes Extend, Studio, EIB, and API-driven UI work within a collaborative global team.

The position involves coordinating with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials teams, implementing robust security designs, and supporting release cycles with a focus on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Total experience 4+ years in Workday integrations.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and support end-to-end Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Extend, and Web Services.
• Experience building extensions on the Workday Extend platform with APIs and UI pages.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems and middleware like MuleSoft.
• Apply Workday AI/automation features to streamline processes.
• Experience writing data mappings and transformations (XSLT, XPath, Groovy).
• Knowledge of payroll/financial interfaces (PECIs) and security, access policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support end-to-end Workday integrations.
• Build and maintain custom apps, orchestrations, and UI pages on Workday Extend.
• Develop and support inbound/outbound integrations with payroll, ATS, and financial systems.
• Apply AI/automation to streamline integration and reporting workflows.
• Write and optimize data transformations for complex mappings.
• Configure PECI and other payroll/financial interfaces as needed.
• Own integration security design and access policies.
• Lead design sessions and review peer solutions for quality and performance.
• Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot production integrations and incidents.
• Collaborate with Workday teams to translate business requirements into scalable designs.
• Support semi-annual Workday release cycles and regression testing.
