Job summary

Synechron seeks a Workday Functional Lead/Analyst – Integrations to understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, and build prototype configurations for client testing. You will schedule and monitor integrations, collaborate across teams, and drive enhancements between Workday and internal applications while evaluating feature releases for impact.

Strong communication, 7+ years in Workday Studio and integration tech, plus HR system experience, are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Workday Studio
• Experience integrating Workday with payroll, benefits and background verification vendors
• 7+ years of experience with integration technologies (Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Java)
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday HCM, PeopleSoft HRMS or SAP HCM
• Experience with requirements documentation and design feedback
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SDLC and project methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Workday certification in Integrations preferred
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and configure the Workday solution
• Demonstrate configurations through prototype configurations
• Schedule and monitor integrations to run on schedule
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment
• Direct efforts to improve and implement system integrations between Workday and internal apps
• Test new features/releases and assess impact on integrations and reports
• Prepare admin docs, end-user docs, and training materials
• Adopt change management processes for upgrades and modifications
• Coordinate with HRIS team to test internal changes and releases
• Provide top-tier customer support via ticketing system and other channels
