Job summary

Gothong Southern Shipping is seeking a Vessel Technical Operations Supervisor in Cebu to oversee onboard maintenance, planning, and safety compliance for assigned vessels. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, oversee downtime, and ensure seaworthiness through regular inspections and timely reporting.

The role requires supervising maintenance teams, coordinating with E-Sea and Shipmanagement, and supporting investigations to implement corrective actions and continuous improvements in

Qualifications

• Education Preferable Maritime Related Degree (Marine Engineering) or other Engineering Fields (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance onboard assigned vessels, including refits and planned projects.
• Ensure proper risk management for technical operations onboard assigned vessels.
• Provide technical assistance to the team during machinery breakdowns.
• Attend vessel sea trials, repairs, and surveys as needed.
• Ensure vessels seaworthiness through regular inspections.
• Coordinate with the E-Sea Manager and Shipmanagement Head for planned/unplanned maintenance and updates.
• Support adherence to Safety Management System and Company Security System onboard.
• Assist in post-incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Education
