Job summary

Littelfuse Philippines, Inc. in Batangas City is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics engineer to lead new product design and process development for PCB-related products. The role spans cross-functional coordination, testing, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards to enable product expansion.

You will manage projects, guide technicians, and drive design reviews, while seeking improvements to performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in new product design and development in the PCB industry.
• Creative mindset to find new design concepts.
• Broad knowledge and experience with materials (metals, plastics, composites) for PCB, FR4, Prepreg, Lamination, etc.
• Project management experience in managing multiple projects in product design and process development.
• Above-average English oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of CAD, MS Office, internet, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and manufacturing processes; coordinate cross-functional teams; conduct testing and evaluations to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards; manage development projects; recommend tools and equipment to support production and product expansion.
• Lead product design reviews and release processes; report project status to management; coordinate with international safety agencies for product approvals; recommend design/manufacturing improvements to enhance performance, quality, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Manage technicians and provide direction, assistance, and guidance as needed.
• Other duties as designated by supervisor or manager.
• Coordinate and participate in quality-related activities affecting product development.

• Responsible for developing new products and manufacturing processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, conducting testing and evaluations to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards, managing development projects, and recommending tools and equipment to support efficient production and product expansion.
• Responsible for leading product design reviews and release processes, reporting project status to management, coordinating with international safety agencies for product approvals, and recommending design or manufacturing improvements to enhance product performance, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Manage technicians and provide direction, assistance, and guidance, as needed
• Other duties that may arise in the course of employment, as designated by the supervisor or manager
• Coordinates and participates in quality-related activities affecting product development.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in new product design and development in the PCB industry
• Creative mindset to find new design concepts.
• With broad knowledge and experience with materials, in particular metals, plastics, and composites (PCB, FR4, Prepreg, and Lamination, etc.),
• Project Management experience background in managing multiple projects in product design and process development
• Above average English oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of computer skills such as CAD, MS Office, internet, etc.
