Job summary

Littelfuse Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical circuits and subsystems for solid-state protection and control products. You will perform schematic capture, simulation, component selection, stress analysis, and PCB design reviews, collaborating with firmware engineers to define system requirements.

Occasional travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers is expected. BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical product development.
• Strong background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, or programmable logic devices.
• Understanding of power electronics, protection systems, and current sensing tech.
• Experience with schematic design, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
• Familiarity with EMC, safety, and product compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive technical decisions within project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical circuits and subsystems for solid-state protection and control products.
• Perform schematic capture, simulation, component selection, stress analysis, and PCB design reviews.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to define and implement system requirements.
• Support laboratory evaluation, troubleshooting, and validation testing of AC and DC protection systems.
• Participate in product qualification, reliability testing, and compliance activities.
• Work closely with manufacturing and supplier partners to ensure product performance, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.
• Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and project planning activities.
• Support occasional travel to manufacturing sites, suppliers, or customer locations.
