QT Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician to join the Engineering Team in maintaining all hotel operations, ensuring safety, security, and comfort for guests. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across building services and engineering systems.

The Scope
The Senior Technician will support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conversation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supports daily hotel operations to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across all hotel facilities, building services, and engineering systems.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and infrastructure.
Respond promptly to guestroom defects, maintenance requests, and operational issues to minimise service disruptions.
Monitor plant rooms, utilities, and critical systems to maintain reliability and operational performance.
Perform repairs to hotel assets, including furniture, fixtures, fittings, doors, cabinetry, and public area facilities.
Prioritise daily work orders and effectively manage maintenance tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Support audiovisual setups and technical requirements for meetings, events, and functions.
Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with hotel standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and inventory of engineering supplies and spare parts.
Coach and support junior team members while promoting safe work practices and high-quality workmanship.
Assist with energy conservation initiatives, sustainability programmes, and continuous improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, fire life safety requirements, and company policies.
Act as the shift lead when required, supporting the coordination of engineering operations and emergency response activities.
Contribute to special projects, hotel events, fire drills, and other operational initiatives as required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualification
At least High School or equivalent, diplomas are an advantage.
Experience
At least 3 years of working experience in any M&E-related field.
Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work.
