Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Australian accounting/tax experience, CPA or equivalent, and strong communication with Australian teams.

We are seeking candidates for Senior Tax Accountant roles.

About the Role

As an AU Tax Accountant, you will be exposed to a range of duties including :

• Preparing individual, company, trust and other entity tax returns
• Preparing BAS and IAS
• Communicating with Australian accounting teams and assisting with client queries where appropriate
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of Australian accounting and taxation experience
• Previous experience working in an Australian accounting firm / public practice environment
• Strong understanding of Australian tax compliance and accounting processes
• Experience preparing tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with an Australian accounting team
• Willingness to learn, develop and expand your career and knowledge

Software Experience

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

• Xero
• MYOB
• FYI Docs
• Other Australian accounting and practice management systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
