Job summary

Mabalacat, Philippines — Boomering, in connection with TRA powered by Boomering, is seeking an AU Bookkeeper to provide bookkeeping support to an Australian accounting firm and its clients. The role is on-site in Mabalacat with standard Mon–Fri hours, handling reconciliations, BAS/IAS, payroll, and month-end tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, familiarity with Australian accounting practices, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or practice support within accounting/tax.
• Experience working with an Australian accounting firm.
• Experience managing multiple clients.
• Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping and accounting processes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent written English for preparing accurate client correspondence and documentation.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to accuracy.
• Time- and deadline-oriented.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.

Position Title: AU Bookkeeper

Work Set-up: On-Site

Schedule: Mon- Fri , 7am – 3:30pm PHT (VIC Holiday)

Salary: Php 60, 000 – 80, 000

About the Role:

As a Bookkeeper, you will provide bookkeeping and accounting support to an Australian accounting firm and its clients.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting compliance activities and assisting with regular accounting processes.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working with an Australian firm and a strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping and compliance requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN AU BOOKKEEPER

Your Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper would be:

• Bank reconciliations


• Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable


• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS)


• Payroll processing, including STP and PAYG


• Superannuation reconciliation


• Month-end functions, including reporting and resolving account discrepancies


• Transaction allocation and bookkeeping


• Year-end STP Finalisation


• SGC statement preparation and lodgement


• TPAR preparation and lodgement


• Fixed asset reconciliation
