Boomering Inc is seeking an AU Tax Senior Accountant for a permanent, work-from-home role in the Philippines. The position focuses on Australian taxation, preparation of tax returns for multiple entities, and timely financial reporting.

You’ll manage client records in Xero/MYOB/ QB Online, liaise with partners, and ensure compliance within budgeted hours. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of accounting experience with Australian tax exposure, CPA qualification, and a client-portfolio mindset.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of accounting and business services experience with Australian taxation focus.
• CPA qualified (or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Experience managing a portfolio of multiple clients across entity types.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review General Ledgers, P&L, Balance Sheets and depreciation schedules for manager review.
• Prepare and lodge Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare IAS and BAS, assist with FBT, GST and other compliance obligations.
• Review client records in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online and LodgeiT for accuracy.
• Manage full job lifecycles from WIP to sign-off and lodgment, coordinating with the team.
• Work within budgeted hours and report delays or overruns to the Operations Manager.
• Assist with designing workflows, promoting compliance and best practices.
• Build trusted client relationships and escalate only complex matters.
• Support ASIC register maintenance and document management.
