Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a technically skilled professional to join Optum Global Solutions in the Philippines. The role focuses on maintaining and improving systems for radiology processes, with a hybrid work schedule and opportunities to advance health optimization globally.

Ideal candidates will have cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), PACS knowledge, Unix/Linux proficiency, and strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Computer Technology Diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP and Azure Cloud platforms.
• Experience with Medical Imaging, PACS or DICOM.
• Understanding of medical imaging terminology and workflow.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
• Experience with PACS.
• Experience with Unix, Linux, and VMWare systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading customer satisfaction.
• Perform trial run of systems to ensure performance meets the established specifications.
• Perform hardware/software installation/upgrades, system configuration, quality test, and documentation according to Radiology and Stratus defined processes.
• Performing functional inspections of installed systems (remote and on-site) including data monitoring and validations to minimize errors according to Stratus and Radiology defined processes.
• Provide feedback concerning workflow issues, performance or other issues and make recommendations for service/tools improvements.
• Generate customer reports such as progress, verifications, and exceptions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Computer Technology Diploma or equivalent or related experience
• Experience working in AWS, GCP and Azure Cloud platforms
• Experience with Medical Imaging, PACS or DICOM
• Experience with PACS
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Understanding of client server architecture with regards to streaming data (especially image and demographic data) from the server to the client
• Understanding of medical imaging terminology and workflow
• Working on Unix, Linux, and VMWare systems
• Self-starter, able to work independently without supervision
• Team player
• Proven excellent IT skills
