Connext is seeking a System Administrator to design, implement, maintain, and support our enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, security, backup, disaster recovery, and SaaS platforms.

You will act as an escalation point, support infrastructure projects, and stay current with technology advances to meet business objectives. The role requires strong English communication and willingness for occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related IT infrastructure roles.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
• Experience with servers, storage, networking, and security infrastructure.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Willingness to participate in occasional weekend/weeknight on-call.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, support, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure hardware and software platforms.
• Manage and support servers, storage systems, networking technologies, security devices, backup solutions, disaster recovery systems, and SaaS applications.
• Perform infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for advanced infrastructure-related incidents.
• Support infrastructure implementation, upgrades, migrations, and technical projects.
• Evaluate and research new technologies, systems, and architecture improvements to support business objectives.
• Develop technical recommendations, cost estimates, and upgrade plans for infrastructure enhancements.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and execution.
• Maintain and improve IT standards, processes, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Ensure infrastructure environments are maintained according to established policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain current technical knowledge through continuous learning, industry research, and professional development.
• Collaborate with technical teams, management, vendors, and stakeholders on infrastructure projects and technical initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance for assigned infrastructure systems.
• Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and project updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.
