Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for a work-from-home role. You will oversee core infrastructure, Windows servers, virtualization, networking, and SQL Server databases while ensuring security and uptime across client accounts.

The role emphasizes automation, documentation, and collaboration with a distributed team. A strong background in cloud services, IIS, and RDS is preferred, with a focus on stable remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Windows Server, core infrastructure administration.
• Strong background in file/folder shares, authentication, backups, antivirus, and virtualization.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, gateways, firewalls, and VPN tunnels.
• Quiet dedicated workspace with stable internet and compatible mobile device for MFA.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support core infrastructure and cloud services.
• Maintain IIS, Remote Desktop Services, Print Services, and SQL Server DBs.
• Automate routine processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Deploy and update in-house software for client accounts.
• Troubleshoot issues, document processes, ensure security and uptime.
