Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Eng, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a System Analyst or similar role.
• Experience on large-scale banking or financial services projects.
• Proven experience with core banking.
• Experience on at least 3 projects end-to-end from requirements through deployment.
• Strong understanding of financial services processes and products.
• Ability to document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Strong experience in test case development, test planning, test data preparation, and functional testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test result reporting.
• Strong documentation skills including interface specs, data mapping, and integration artifacts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Identify gaps and clarify requirements with business users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure requirements are addressed.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend practical solutions or alternatives.
• Understand financial services processes, products, and business outcomes.
• Translate requirements into testable requirements, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Prepare test plans, test data, and testing documentation.
• Coordinate and assist in functional testing and defect management.
• Perform basic application troubleshooting and investigate issues.
• Track, document, and report testing results and defects.
• Ensure delivered applications comply with functional and technical requirements.
• Manage changes to functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain testing documents, reports, and other project artifacts.
• Communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
