Job summary

OPEN INNOVATION INC. is seeking a proactive System Administrator to join our technology team in Metro Manila. The role focuses on maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and user systems.

You will manage Windows and Linux environments, virtualization, backups, and security controls, while collaborating with teams to meet business needs. A strong foundation in AD/DNS/DHCP and cloud familiarity is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in system administration or IT infrastructure role.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux server administration and configuration.
• Experience managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Strong IT security practices including encryption and access control.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and directory services.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, workstations, and network infrastructure for performance and availability.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control per policies.
• Implementing security protocols, firewalls, and backups to protect data.
• Applying updates and maintenance to keep systems current and secure.
• Documenting configurations and changes for knowledge management.
• Providing technical support to end users for hardware/software issues.
• Planning upgrades and capacity to support growth.
• Collaborating with IT and other departments to align services.
