Job summary

Ethos is seeking senior sub-editors to train an AI language model on business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will review, proof, and quality-check content before delivery, ensuring formatting consistency and accuracy across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google Docs equivalents.

The role is fully remote, flexible 5–20 hours per week, ASAP start, with compensation at $70 per hour. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA or editorial roles and a sharp eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a QA, editorial, or production role reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery
• Sharp eye for formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures, and formatting drift across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides) deliverables
• Expert‑level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Review and proof business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks before external delivery
• Ensure formatting, consistency, and accuracy across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or Google Docs equivalents
• Audit financial formulas, links, figures, and template compliance in client deliverables
• Maintain cross-document consistency trackers and brand guidelines during reviews
• Contribute to AI-model training data quality by producing high-quality, error-free outputs
