Staff Domain Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an Estimator with a strong civil engineering background to support project planning and cost analysis for large and small construction works.

You will prepare detailed takeoffs, develop BOQs, review project docs, and ensure estimates meet standards and client requirements. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple estimating tasks while collaborating with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in construction estimating or quantity surveying.
• BOQ preparation and detailed quantity takeoffs experience.
• Proficient in Bluebeam for takeoffs.
• Knowledge of concrete structures and Australian standards.
• Experience estimating projects from ~$100k to ~$10M in value.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from drawings and specs.
• Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Utilize Bluebeam for measurement takeoffs and quantity calculations.
• Review drawings, plans and specifications to identify requirements.
• Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs for proposals.
• Analyze project scope for cost risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify estimation needs.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and pricing data.
• Support tender submissions and cost planning for projects.
• Monitor industry pricing trends and update estimating databases.
• Identify priorities and improve estimating processes.
