Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Structural Design professional to join our growing team. You will contribute to iconic projects, lead design development, and ensure compliance with international codes across metro and industrial schemes.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, chartership progress, 8–10 years of post‑graduate experience, and strong English communication. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and structural analysis tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Licensed Registered Civil Engineer.
• 8 to 10 years minimum relevant post-graduate experience.
• Experience on large scale infrastructure metro projects or industrial steelwork is an advantage.
• Working towards Charterships with International Institutes (UK/US/Canada/Australia) is an advantage.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegating skills.
• Proficiency with international design standards (US/Canada/UK&I, EU, AU).
• Knowledgeable in AUTOCAD, REVIT, Navisworks and BIM environment.
• Proficiency in engineering software like SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, RISA, Robot, Tekla Structures, or SCIA.
• Programming knowledge using C++, Python, Dynamo is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical engineering techniques using international design codes.
• Participate in safe design processes considering construction and operation hazards.
• Prepare drawings, markups and design reports.
• Oversee detailed design and calculations across projects.
• Supervise markup and design review processes.
• Ensure design resources are effective.
• Conduct internal quality checks of drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for project requirements.
• Deliver complete design documentation and reports for Design Managers.
• Maintain communication with Function Leaders and Design Manager.
