Job summary

Black & White Engineering is expanding its Manila operation and seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for building projects, with a focus on data centre facilities. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop robust structural solutions from concept through construction, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering, 7+ years in structural design, and hands-on experience with Revit,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in design and analysis of building structures.
• Experience working in an engineering team, preferably in technology/data centre industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Tekla, and Robot Structural Analysis.
• Good understanding of Eurocodes.
• Ability to manage own workload and be a team player.

• Develops the structural design for new-build and refurbishment of building projects.
• Liaises with other disciplines to produce a coordinated design.
• Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own and others’ work.
• Responsible for setting and meeting agreed deadlines.

• Authors documents such as letters and reports for internal or external use.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer, ideally with extensive years of working experience in design and analysis of building structures from concept through to construction in various sectors, particularly the technology/data centre industry, and to work as part of a team on technically challenging projects.

• May in addition be responsible for the performance and development of others, providing guidance, training, motivational and directional feedback.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or have sufficient equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of technical experience specialising in the design and analysis of building structures.
• Experience of working in an engineering team, preferably within the technology/data centre industry.
• Competent in using software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla, and Robot Structural Analysis.
• Good understanding of Eurocodes.
• Ability to manage your own workload and be a good team player.
• Ability to work in an evolving market where new technologies can be embraced.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
