Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Manila is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Manila team, with at least three years' experience in design and analysis of building structures, especially for technology and data centre projects.

You will develop structural designs for new builds and refurbishments, liaise with other disciplines, and work with senior engineers to grow your expertise while upholding quality and meeting deadlines within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or sufficient equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years technical experience specialising in the design and analysis of building structures.
• Experience working in an engineering team, preferably within the technology or data centre industry.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles, including Eurocodes and American codes.
• Familiar with BIM, Revit and other coordination tools such as Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of designing structural members based on international codes and standards, including Eurocodes and American codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for new build and refurbishment projects and ensure coordination with other disciplines.
• Liaise with other disciplines to produce a coordinated design, conducting multidisciplinary coordination, project reporting and documentation.
• Represent the company both internally and externally, author documents such as letters and reports, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Work alongside senior engineers and build expertise through guidance and mentorship.
