Outsourced.ph is seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer for a homebased role with an AU client. You will work on reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry design, coordinate with drafters, mentor juniors, and ensure compliance with Australian standards.

The role requires autonomous work ethic and strong time management in a fast-paced environment. You will engage with stakeholders, review design documentation, and contribute to concept-to-construction phases while maintaining client

Qualifications

• Experienced Senior Structural Engineer with skills in reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry.
• Strong communicator who can manage a project from concept to construction documentation.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Concept design for review by stakeholders across all design documentation stages.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in developing junior staff with stakeholders.
• Coordinate design stages with draftsperson/team.
• Conduct client meetings with the project team.
• Interpret Australian standards for concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
• Prepare forensic reports and review independent specialist reports (fire, geotechnical, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience:

• A dedicated Experienced Senior Structural Engineer with sound technical skills in Reinforced concrete, Timber, Steel and Masonry.
• A strong communicator and able to successfully manage a project from concept to construction documentation.
• Sound technical knowledge including familiarization with Australian standards.
• Degree qualified with a Bachelor of Engineering-Civil
• A minimum of 7 years' experience.
• Able to provide innovative solutions requiring creative ideas.
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and equipped with exceptional time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work on structural programs and a clear understanding of technical literature.
• Able to interpret structural models including the ability to derive from first hand principles to validate any assumptions or program outputs.
• Able to work with draftsperson and provide structural design sketches and coordinate drawings.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the concept design for review by the relevant stakeholders across all stages of the design documentation process.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders to assist in the development of junior staff.
• Coordinate the design stages with the relevant draftsperson and or team.
• Have teams meeting with our clients
• Be familiar and interpret Australian standards for concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
• Write up forensic reports including reviewing independent specialist reports - fire, geotechnical engineer, etc.

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
