Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an Australian client to lead mechanical design and delivery across building services projects. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, perform heat loads, equipment sizing, and ensure designs meet relevant standards and project requirements.

Based in the Philippines, you will work in a remote setup with a day shift (Manila time) to support client interactions and site reviews, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in hydraulic (plumbing) design.
• Proven experience delivering mechanical building services projects within a consultancy environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and delivery across building services projects.
• Coordinate mechanical services with other disciplines, consultants and contractors.
• Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards, codes and project requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain technical standards.
• Attend site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Manage project deliverables, priorities and deadlines.

A growing Australian engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and delivery across a variety of building services projects. This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background who enjoys both technical delivery and client-facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam or any other similar software
• A quality-driven approach, with close attention to detail across the project lifecycle
• Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (6AM-3PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace at home
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
