Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design across RC, timber, steel and masonry projects. You will ensure documentation from concept to construction is accurate and compliant with Australian standards, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with drafters and clients.

The role is a permanent homebased position based in the Philippines, requiring strong time management, autonomous work style, and clear communication with international

Qualifications

• Dedicated Experienced Senior Structural Engineer with sound technical skills in reinforced concrete, timber, steel and masonry.
• Strong communicator capable of managing a project from concept to construction documentation.
• Sound knowledge including familiarity with Australian standards.
• Bachelor of Engineering-Civil degree.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience.
• Ability to provide innovative solutions and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience interpreting structural models and coordinating drawings.

Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

• A dedicated Experienced Senior Structural Engineer with sound technical skills in Reinforced concrete, Timber, Steel and Masonry.
• A strong communicator and able to successfully manage a project from concept to construction documentation.
• Sound technical knowledge including familiarization with Australian standards.
• Degree qualified with a Bachelor of Engineering-Civil
• A minimum of 7 years' experience.
• Able to provide innovative solutions requiring creative ideas.
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and equipped with exceptional time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work on structural programs and a clear understanding of technical literature.
• Able to interpret structural models including the ability to derive from first hand principles to validate any assumptions or program outputs.
• Able to work with draftsperson and provide structural design sketches and coordinate drawings.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the concept design for review by the relevant stakeholders across all stages of the design documentation process.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders to assist in the development of junior staff.
• Coordinate the design stages with the relevant draftsperson and or team.
• Have teams meeting with our clients
• Be familiar and interpret Australian standards for concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
• Write up forensic reports including reviewing independent specialist reports - fire, geotechnical engineer, etc.

Work Schedule (Dayshift)

• Monday to Friday (7AM-4PM; Manila Time)

Work Setup (WFH)

• Permanent Homebased
• Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
• Equipment will be provided by the company
• Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
