Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is searching for a Senior Steel-making Raw Materials Trader based in London to develop and execute trading strategies for steel-making inputs and to expand the EU/UK markets. You will own the P&L for your traded commodities and structure high-value trades, with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong market insight.

The role requires leading negotiations, managing risk across the trade cycle, and leveraging an extensive industry network to originate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a front-end trader in steel-making raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading strategies for steel-making raw materials, expanding markets across suppliers and buyers.
• Structure and negotiate trade contracts to optimise commercial outcomes.
• Manage risk exposure across the full trade cycle, ensuring profitability and financial security.
