Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own production reliability for AWS and EKS in a fully remote capacity. You will manage on-call responses, troubleshoot complex Kubernetes and distributed systems, and drive blameless postmortems and permanent improvements.

You will design and improve SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, alerting, disaster recovery, and automation, collaborating closely with software and platform teams to embed reliability in the lifecycle.

Qualifications

Significant hands-on SRE experience with production ownership.
Extensive AWS production ops experience.
Deep Kubernetes operations beyond deployment, incl. upgrades, autoscaling, networking, failures.

Responsibilities

Own production reliability and on-call response for AWS/EKS environments.
Troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and distributed systems in production.
Lead or participate in P1/P2 incidents and postmortems for permanent improvements.
Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs and error budgets; implement runbooks and alerts.
Build and improve IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt; manage GitOps via Argo CD/FluxCD.
Improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog/ELK.
