Job summary

axian group is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for Solar Energy and BESS to lead the technical design office, covering sizing, grid connection, and bankable studies for large PV projects. You will drive designs from concept through detailed engineering and deliverables for lenders and clients.

The role requires 5+ years in design or PV development, fluency with PVsyst and related tools, and the ability to coordinate across project teams while traveling internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a design office or PV development role.
• Proven track record on utility-scale projects >10 MWp.
• Experience with BESS is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out feasibility studies and detailed preliminary designs for PV plants (10–200+ MWp) with/without BESS.
• Size PV systems and energy storage components; perform production simulations.
• Produce bankable engineering reports and draft technical specifications.
• Prepare BOMs, CAPEX estimates and tender responses.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical negotiations.
